In Turkmenistan, in July and August, a decision was made to reduce the speed of trains due to abnormal heat. For security purposes, this decision was made by the Agency "Turkmendemirellary" ("Turkmen Railways").
The railway department announced possible delays for passenger trains along the route and explained that the decision to limit the speed of trains was made due to the fact that due to the heat in July and August, the temperature of the steel parts of the railway track will be excessively high, which increases the risk of their wear and deformation.
