Baku: The amount of the individual presidential pension of the Republic of Azerbaijan is being increased, APA reports. This change is part of a broader initiative to adjust social benefits and pensions across the country.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the increase is outlined in a Decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev. The Decree, entitled 'Increasing the amounts of social benefits, presidential scholarships of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and pensions for honorary titles, and making amendments to certain decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan related to this,' details the adjustments that will be made to various social benefits.
The new amount, set at 1,700 manats, will take effect from July 1, 2025. This adjustment reflects the government's ongoing efforts to enhance the welfare of its citizens by revising social benefit structures.
