In April of this year, migrants transferred USD 156 million to Kyrgyzstan. Such data are published on the website of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. Compared to April last year, the inflow decreased by 39%. Then, through money transfer systems, the country received USD 255.2 million. Almost 91% of the money received in April came from Russia - USD 141.7 million. Compared to the same month last year, the figure fell by 41.5%. From other CIS countries, USD 1.8 million were received. The volume of transfers from non-CIS countries in April amounted to USD 12.5 million. A third of the amount (USD 4 million) was transferred to Kyrgyzstan from the United States. In April last year, USD 12.4 million were received from non-CIS countries. In total, from January to April, the country received USD 624 million through money transfer systems, which is 19.2% lower than in the same period in 2022. For four months of last year, the volume of transfers of individuals amounted to USD 772.6 million.
