As part of his visit to Mongolia, Shahin Mustafayev, President of the International Turkic Academy has met with Chuluun Sampildondov, Director of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum and the Secretary-General of the International Association of Mongol Studies. The meeting discussed ways of further development of cooperation between the institutions and the plans of organizing joint projects for promoting the heritage of nomads. At the meeting with Ankbayar Danuu, director of the Turcology Research Institute within the National University of Mongolia and head of the department at Izmir Katip Çelebi University, Shahin Mustafayev spoke about the Turcology research in Mongolia. Shahin Mustafayev also visited a memorial complex consisting of the stele of Tonyukuk the Wise, located 75 km from Ulaanbaatar city and viewed construction of the museum.
