Delegation of the Krems University of Applied Sciences of International Management Centre arrived to Turkmenistan on a visit. The University, founded in 1994, is one of the prestigious universities of Austria and is involved in eight international programmes with participation of almost 400 students.
Three day programme of the delegation, composed of Professor Heinz Boyer and Kalr Ensfellner and Jans Ennen, included number of activities aimed at expansion of the partnership in scientific and educational sphere as well as familiarization with the country and preparation to Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.
During the visit, the members of the delegation visited International University of Humanitarian Studies and Developments where had an interesting dialog on prospects of expansion of humanitarian relations, particularly on partnership between two universities. Development of the programmes of academic exchange and international accreditation for attraction of foreign students in Turkmen university was one of the key subjects.
As is known, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed on March 17 between IUHSD and Krems University of Applied Sciences stipulating mutual exchange and cooperation, particularly organization of students' practical work oversea, study during one or several semesters in partners' universities, participation in international research projects as well as invitation of the leading specialists of Krems University as lecturers.
The members of the delegation had the meetings in the State Committee for Sports and Tourism and Executive Committee of V Asian Games, had familiarization tour around the Olympic village. Austrian guests highly estimated architectural advantages and functionality of the sport facility as well as level of preparation of its technical services. The programme of the visit included the trip to Avaza National tourist zone, which had an indelible impression on the guests from Austria.
