International University of Humanities and Development holds a conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the UNICEF

The key event of the thematic forum is lectured to students by Shaheen Nilofer, the UNICEF Representative in Turkmenistan. The speech is accompanied by a video selection, clearly demonstrating the multifaceted activities of UNICEF to protect the rights and interests of children in the context of implementation of the sustainable development Goals

The agenda of the conference focused on the problems of the harmonious development of the child, to create conditions conducive for the realization of the personal potential. The distinguished guest answers on students' questions, after which the sides exchanged views on key aspects of the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child at the national and international levels.

Students and teachers of International University of Humanities and Development supported the initiative of UNICEF having become a member of the contest for the best essay on the topic "What do I want for every child." The best works is recognized by Jemal Ushmekova, Nagima Khojayeva and Maya Esenmuradova. Congratulating the winners and handing out prizes to girls, Shaheen Nilofer addresses words of gratitude to other participants of the contest, stressing that all esseys will be included in the special publication.

Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan is planning to hold similar conference in the near future.
