BAKU: Iran hails any proposals to increase the level of cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of energy and oil, Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said at a meeting with Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev in Tehran on October 15, Trend reports. According to him, energy and oil are one of the directions of the development of economic relations between Iran and Azerbaijan. Highlighting the establishment of a working group between the two countries to accelerate the development of cooperation in the energy sector, the Iranian minister instructed the Department of International and Trade Relations of the Ministry of Oil to organize the working group. In the course of the meeting, Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev also stated that Azerbaijan intends to implement future projects in the economic sphere with Iran.
