Tehran: An Iranian delegation will soon visit Trkiye to discuss the Zangazur corridor, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei said at a press conference today.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the diplomat stated that the Zangazur corridor is not a political issue but a technical one with a specific history between the two countries. He emphasized that Iran's position remains stable, welcoming the expansion of cooperation in the transport sector while underlining the importance of respecting the sovereign rights of countries.

Baghaei further mentioned that a delegation comprising representatives from relevant agencies would visit Trkiye in the near future to discuss the corridor issue closely. He expressed hope for a swift resolution to the matter.
