Kazakhstan completes boundary delimitation with Turkmenistan

On 12 September members of the lower chamber of Kazakhstan's Parliament approved the ratification of the Treaty between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on demarcation of Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan state border and the border between Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on border junction point of three states, the public affairs office of Kazakhstan's Parliament reports.

The treaty on the border junction point of three states is a document completing the border delimitation in the southern direction, the public affairs office of Kazakhstan's Parliament says.

Kazakhstan borders with Russia in the north, with China in the east and with Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan in the south.

Let us recall that the Treaty between Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on the border junction point of three states was signed on 10 November 2017 in Samarkand.
