Kazakhstan sends four observers to Turkmenistan for presidential elections

The Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan approved the candidacies of observers in the CIS and SCO missions for the presidential elections in Turkmenistan, the press service of the CEC of Kazakhstan reported March 4.

Four representatives of Kazakhstan in the observer missions from the CIS and SCO will take part in the observation of the elections in Turkmenistan, the report says.

On March 2, the state news agency TDH reported that on that day, foreign CIS observers visited some polling stations in Ashgabat, where they got acquainted with the work of election commissions, with the technical equipment of polling stations, methodological support of commissions, work with voter lists and observed the progress of early voting.
