This visit, organized by the requests of Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was another step toward progressive development of comprehensive cooperation between two neighbouring states.
Recently, traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan experience new development and is characterised by growing dynamic of partnership aimed at specific result. This is visually proved by regular meetings and high level talks as well as by different level delegations exchanges what directly promotes activation of fruitful relations in all directions.
It is also evidenced by the current visit of the delegation of two largest regions of Uzbekistan to our country. Particularly, familiarization tours to production and industrial enterprises and organizations of cultural sphere of Lebap and Dashoguz velayats including local history museums were organized under the current visit.
The representatives of friendly state visited Buyan Agricultural Complex, which manufactures large variety of pharmacological products including those made of medicinal plants growing in Turkmen land. Modern equipment and technologies used for supply of pure drinking water to the population were introduced to the members of Uzbek delegation in Lebapvelayatagyzsuw Association.
The guests also visited Turkmenabad cotton-spinning factory and highly esteemed the level of automation and technical provision. The exhibition of textile production made in our country rose great interest of the delegation.
Increase of production of ecological friendly food items, provision of the vitamins for the food ratio to the population even in winter season is the main social objective of hothouse direction of agricultural complex development, which is supported by the Government that also establishes the conditions for increase of import substitution in this region, implementation of advanced technologies of plant growing, support of rural house farms and organization of export of green production to neighbouring country in the future.
Construction of hothouse farms, which are able to provide the citizens of cities and rural areas with fresh fruits and vegetables around the year, was expanded in all regions of the country. It is built by domestic entrepreneurs, who appreciated the benefits of such business projects and their economical impact, which is profitability and fast cost recovery. The guests received the evidence of this having visited the hothouse farm in Serdarabat etrap.
Besides, the visits of Turkmenabad bakery enterprises, which includes large grain elevator and milling facility, as well as equestrian complex with hippodrome, is also included into the programme.
S. Rozmetov Agricultural Joint Stock Venture met our guests from Uzbekistan in the northern region of the country. The delegation was familiarized with the course of preparation for spring field works, particularly for cotton sowing, visited cotton gin enterprises and appreciated elite seeds stock produced by the enterprises as well as shared their experience with Dashoguz farmers.
The delegation of Uzbekistan had an opportunity to see the course of positive changes in Dashoguz Velayat, which is indicated by beautiful new buildings, comfortable living houses and variety of social facilities erected under National rural programme.
One of the examples of its successful implementation is Bagtiyar Zaman settlement in S. A. Niyazov etrap, which was also visited by the guests from neighbouring country, who mentioned that rural infrastructure does not yield to the urban one. By the way, there are Uzbek families among the new tenants of comfort houses of the settlement, which was opened in summer of 2016.
Uzbekistan delegation also familiarized with cotton-spinning factory production and education process in Dashoguz Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
There were several meetings and talks between the heads of regional administration of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, representatives of business and public circles, who shared the experience and defined perspective directions of cooperation.
