On November 12, the third session of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan of the first convocation was held, at which the laws adopted on October 30 were considered, the state information agency TDH reported .
The deputies were the first to unanimously approved the Law of Turkmenistan "On the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2022". It is reported that "in the velayats, a substantial part of the financial resources is directed to transforming the social and living conditions of the population of villages, cities in etraps and etrap centers."
Also, most of the expenditures are directed to financing the social sphere, including the reform of health care systems, education, culture, state social security and utilities .
On October 30, a meeting of the Mejlis (lower house) of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan (parliament) was held in Ashgabat via video link, at which the deputies adopted the budget for 2022 and approved the execution of the budget for 2020.
Then the following were adopted:
• The Law "On Trust Management of State Property", which defines the goals, methods and procedure for transferring state property into trust management;
• The Law "On Postal Communication", which will contribute to the reform of this area and improve the quality of postal services;
• The Law "On the State Land Cadastre", the purpose of which, among other things, is to use cadastral data for the development of the economy, ensure guarantees of rights to land plots , rational use, restoration and protection of land;
• The Law "On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in Turkmenistan", which defines the legal status of foreign citizens, stateless persons, and also regulates relations arising in connection with their stay (residence) and their labor and business activities in the country.
