The King of Bahrain, Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, visited the National Museum of the Turkmen Carpet and the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex as part of the state visit to Turkmenistan.
During his visit to the museum, the Bahraini monarch was interested in the technique of making carpets and the dyes used. Noting the high level of national carpet art and the professionalism of Turkmen craftswomen, the head of Bahrain stressed that the exhibits presented in the museum are genuine masterpieces and heritage of human culture.
Thanking the museum staff for an interesting excursion, the king made an entry in the guest book.
Then the distinguished guest arrived at the Akhal-Teke International Equestrian Complex, where he was accompanied by horsemen of the Galkynysh (Revival) national equestrian games group. Dashing riders on the magnificent Akhal-Teke showed an exciting show with a cascade of spectacular stunts and difficult elements of riding. The bright, distinctive performance of the Galkynysh group members made a big impression on the head of the friendly state.
Upon completion of the state visit program, the King of Bahrain proceeded to Ashgabat International Airport, from where he left for his homeland.
