Kuwait and Turkmenistan, on Tuesday, sealed a number of deals, to promote cooperation in various fields.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Kuwaiti Emir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and visiting Turkmenistan's President, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
The two sides have agreed to form a joint committee for cooperation, in addition to a bilateral visa exemption deal, for holders of diplomatic, service and special passports.
Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and his Turkmen counterpart, Rasit Meredow, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), to hold regular discussions.
Kuwait's Finance Minister, Nayef Al-Hajraf and the Turkmen deputy Prime Minister, also signed a deal over economic cooperation.
The Kuwaiti and Turkmen governments, also forged an agreement for closer ties on the cultural front.
Berdimuhamedow and his accompanying delegation, arrived in Kuwait, Tuesday, on an official state visit.
