The opening of the diplomatic mission was held within the framework of the state visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to Mongolia on July 9-11. Earlier, by his Decree, the Kyrgyz leader appointed Aibek Artykbaev as Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the country. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Artykbaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkhiyin.
