Kyrgyz FM receives Parliamentary vice minister for foreign affairs of Japan

During the meeting, Jeenbek Kulubaev expressed satisfaction with the progressive development of bilateral relations and the maintenance of an active political dialogue based on traditional friendly ties. It was noted that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to interaction with Japan, cooperation with which is one of the main priorities of the country. During the meeting, the sides agreed to make joint efforts to organize visits at the highest and high levels in order to further strengthen interaction between the two countries in the political, trade, economic, investment and other fields. Kulubaev stressed the importance of deepening regional cooperation in the format of the Central Asia + Japan Dialogue, primarily in the field of economic interconnectedness, transport logistics and ecology. The sides stressed the importance and significance of interaction in multilateral formats, and also discussed topical issues on the international agenda, regional security issues and the development of the current situation in Afghanistan. At the end of the meeting, the sides confirmed their common desire to further deepen bilateral cooperation on topical issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda of Kyrgyz-Japanese relations. In addition, Japanese Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Yuumi Yoshikawa held talks with Deputy Foreign Minister Aibek Moldogaziev, during which the sides exchanged views on the implementation of the agreements reached following bilateral visits, as well as on various events planned for this year at a high and the highest levels
