Mentoring is the process of transferring knowledge, skills and abilities from the most qualified specialists of an enterprise or organization to students, young professionals who do not have work experience, or employees appointed to a position in which they do not have work experience. According to the regulation, mentors will provide methodological and practical assistance in improving professional knowledge, skills and abilities, for better performance of their duties by young specialists. Also, mentors will help to adapt in the team. The regulation describes the goals of mentoring, the requirements for mentors, the procedure for organizing mentoring, the stages, forms and methods of mentoring, as well as the rights and obligations of the mentor and the mentee. The Ministry of Labor clarified that the initiative to adopt this resolution was raised by the business community in 2020 at a meeting of the Business Development and Investment Council under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
