Kyrgyzstan plans to sell electricity to China and build HPPs

A number of documents were signed following the talks between the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov and the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Communist Party of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China Ma Xingrui. Press service of the Cabinet reported.

In particular, the parties signed memorandums of intent to export electricity to China and build a 500 kilovolt power transmission line Kyrgyzstan — China and small hydropower plants. An agreement was adopted on the establishment of XUAR — Kyrgyzstan Business Council, a protocol of intent was signed on the establishment of sister city relations between Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic with XUAR of the PRC.

An agreement on medical cooperation was signed with the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University and a contract for the purchase of cars between Ili-Xinghe Trade LLP and BTK LLC.
