Kyrgyzstanis win first medals at World Combat Games

The World Combat Games are taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Games’ website reports.

In the first days, Kyrgyzstanis won four medals.

Nazim Nurlanov won a silver medal at a karate tournament. In the weight category up to 75 kilograms, he lost to an athlete from Turkey in the final.

Sambo wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan won three bronze medals.

Zhamalbek Asylbek uulu (up to 88 kilograms), Beknazar Zheemyrzaev (up to 98 kilograms) and Miraida Medetbek kyzy (up to 65 kilograms) took the third places.

The World Combat Games will end on October 30.
