Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will lead the Russian delegation to the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, according to an announcement from the Russian Foreign Ministry, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Lavrov is set to address the General Assembly's general political discussion, scheduled from September 19 to 26. He will also participate in various meetings.
According to the Russian media, the delegation will advocate for the principles outlined in Russia's updated foreign policy concept, emphasizing the importance of the UN as a central coordinating body for safeguarding and harmonizing the interests of all states.
