The Mejlis (parliament) of Turkmenistan of the sixth convocation at the seventh meeting considered and adopted the new edition of the draft law "On the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan" (SPPT).
At the meeting, it was emphasized that the law determines the legal, organizational, economic basis of the activities of the SPTT. In particular, in accordance with the law, the powers of this public organization are expanded, its rights and obligations are specified, which will significantly increase the role of the business community in the development of the country.
The deputies also noted that the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan today unites over 23 thousand representatives of private business, and the union's representative offices are open in China, the UAE and Austria. SPPT also has its own trading houses in China and Afghanistan.
At the parliamentary meeting, deputies also considered and adopted draft laws on introducing amendments and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan. Changes and additions were made to the Civil Code of Turkmenistan, the Code of Administrative Offenses, the laws On Advocacy and Advocacy in Turkmenistan, On Free Economic Zones, On Property, On Trading Activities, On Prevention of Harmful Impact alcohol , On physical education and sport , On tourism , On culture , On land , On migration and On migration service .
In accordance with the law, draft laws adopted by Parliament will be signed by the President of Turkmenistan, after which they will gain legal force.
