Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a field working meeting with representatives of law enforcement agencies. During the event, the head of state was shown all kinds of products, including food, manufactured in the territory of the economic departments of law enforcement agencies.
According to the state news agency TDH, first of all the head of state familiarized himself with the work of the livestock breeding complexes of the security forces, which contain hundreds of cattle and poultry.
According to the newspaper, the Customs Service alone contains 50,000 hens, which last year laid down more than 11 million eggs, the deficit of which was repeatedly reported by independent media.
In addition to economic benefits, the maintenance of cattle and poultry, according to the president, is important "in the labor education of young soldiers."
Then the president examined the exhibition of goods of enterprises under the jurisdiction of law enforcement agencies. Berdymukhamedov was shown samples of uniforms of military personnel, various types of equipment, including fire extinguishing agents, plastic products manufactured on the basis of raw materials of a gas chemical plant in the village of Kiyanly.
The publication noted that the Border Guard manufactures seat covers for cars and ships, various types of equipment, camouflage nets for military equipment and even building materials.
The exhibition also presented a wide range of agricultural products and crop samples of pistachio and nut trees.
The main place in the exposition is occupied by products - meat and meat products, dairy products. This is evidence that the subsidiary farms of the country's security forces pay great attention to food production, the TDH reported.
During the inspection of the exhibition, the president noted that "along with military affairs, the desire of servicemen to engage in various types of crafts, farming and animal husbandry should be increased, and that many of them will help with the choice of profession after finishing their service."
The president also got acquainted with the presented samples of vehicles of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. As an example, TDH called mobile trailer houses. We note that only they and no other equipment were shown in the television report.
Then the Minister of Internal Affairs, Isgender Mulikov, "on behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs personnel presented to the president a foal born on the first day of the coming 2019 and asked him to give him a name."
Given that he was born in the year, the motto of which is Turkmenistan - the Motherland of Prosperity (Turkmenistan - rowaclygyany Watany), Berdymukhamedov called him Rovach (Successful). The initial translation of the motto sounded like Turkmenistan - Homeland of successes and achievements, then it was changed.
In conclusion, the president held a meeting at which he ordered to explore the possibilities of increasing the volume of food production and growing tree saplings to contribute to the environment.
Recall that the cattle-breeding complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they planned to grow camels, large and small cattle, rabbits, turkeys, chickens and other animals, was opened in the fall of 2016. It was reported that this "will allow to meet the needs of this structure, and the surplus of meat and dairy products is planned to be sold on the domestic market."
In the spring of 2018, Berdymukhamedov instructed the ministers of health and defense to open camel farms.
