Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a videoconference meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov.
The parties discussed the agenda of bilateral relations and exchanged views on preparations for the III Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the Central Asian region, which is scheduled to be held in Bishkek.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan outlined the vectors for intensifying interstate cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. The parties underlined the importance of mutual support within international structures. The issues of regional integration were also discussed.
