A massive rally calling for the South Korean president to resign is expected to take place in Seoul Saturday night and former Democratic Party Chairman Moon Jae-in says he'll be there to support the protesters "to the very end."
Moon made the pledge via Facebook on Friday, after visiting demonstrators holding a round-the-clock protest vigil in downtown Seoul.
Moon has maintained President Park Geun-hye should delegate all of her powers to a prime minister put forward by the National Assembly.
Failing that, he says a "major decision" will be inevitable, a thinly veiled reference to Park's resignation.
