In the extraordinary presidential elections in Turkmenistan, which will be held on March 12 this year, 2.54 percent of voters voted early. Early voting began on March 2 and will end on March 11, 2022.

According to the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan, voters abroad are the most active. According to the Central Election Commission, 28.6 percent of voters have already voted in foreign countries.

Earlier, the Central Election Commission of Turkmenistan reported that from March 2, early voting began at 2,577 polling stations in the country and 41 polling stations formed at the diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan abroad.
