In Ashgabat, in honor of International Women's Day on March 8, a ceremony was held to honor mothers of many children who gave birth and raised eight or more children. In accordance with the decree of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, mothers of large families were awarded the honorary title "Ene myahri" ("Mother's tenderness") and were given the keys to new comfortable apartments.
At the ceremony, it was noted that in Turkmenistan women are provided with various state benefits, conditions for a decent life and work are provided, and their role in public and political life is actively increasing.
On behalf of all the women of the country, the participants of the celebration expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for creating conditions in the country for the prosperous life of the people, caring for the younger generation and maintaining high spiritual and moral values in society.
