Cellular mobile operator MTS-Turkmenistan is selling used office furniture. The corresponding announcement was published on thecompany's website .

Mobile operator MTS-Turkmenistan suspended its operations at the end of September 2017. Turkmenistan has refused to renew the license to use frequencies. At the time of closure, the operator had 1.7 million subscribers.
In July 2018, MTS appealed to the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) with a lawsuit against Turkmenistan. The operator estimated its losses at $ 750 million. In response, a representative of the Turkmen side accused MTS of psychological pressure.
