Azerbaijan has taken a number of initiatives in the direction of increasing the role and activity of the Non-Aligned Movement, said Bahar Muradova, chairwoman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs at the Non-Aligned Movement's Conference on Development of Women's Rights and Empowerment, APA reports. "The newly established youth network of the movement and the parliamentary network are successful examples of this," she said. She noted the importance of continuing cooperation with the more reliable protection of human rights, and remaining loyal to the ideas of justice and humanism. The Chairwoman noted that even now there are countries that prefer neo-colonial policy and the Non-Aligned Movement member countries should unite their efforts against neo-colonialism.
