President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received credentials from the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Turkmenistan Bet-Eden Kait.
During the conversation, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of expanding mutually beneficial dialogue in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Bilateral trade, high technologies, agriculture and the use of water resources were named among the key vectors of interaction. The relevance of intensifying partnerships in science, culture, education and healthcare was also emphasized.
The parties expressed their readiness to strengthen partnership at the site of large international organizations and regional structures. Noting the effectiveness of interaction within the UN, the interlocutors emphasized the importance of mutual support for international initiatives aimed at ensuring peace, security and sustainable development.
The Israeli Ambassador assured the head of Turkmenistan that she would make every effort to further develop the traditionally friendly Israeli-Turkmen relations.
