BISHKEK: Kyrgyzstan has received new Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft from Canada, Trend reports. The new plane was acquired for the state-owned carrier Asman Airlines, a subsidiary of the Manas International Airport. The turboprop plane will service all domestic routes, with ticket prices ranging from 2,100 to 3,300 som (approximately $25-$39). The inaugural flight on the Bishkek-Osh route is scheduled for September 27. Manasbek Samidinov, head of the International Airport Manas, informed local journalists that the airline expects to receive a second aircraft in early October 2024, a third in May, and a fourth by the end of 2025. The Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 is the bee’s knees of regional aircraft, designed to carry up to 80 passengers over distances of up to 2,000 kilometers. Source: Trend News Agency
