Khankendi: As part of their visit to Karabakh, members of the world-renowned NomadMania travel club visited Karabakh University in Khankendi, APA's local bureau reports. The traveler group, representing six continents, became acquainted with the conditions created for students at the university. The meeting at the university began with the playing of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan and the commemoration of those martyred for the country's territorial integrity.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Rector of Karabakh University, Shahin Bayramov, delivered a speech providing detailed information about the university. This was followed by a speech from Azerbaijani traveler Mehraj Mahmudov. A documentary film was also presented, highlighting visits by international travelers to Azerbaijan, particularly to the liberated territories, covering memories and truths about Karabakh.
Harry Mitsidis, the leader of the international traveler group and founder of the NomadMania club, shared his memories in his speech. He spoke about the tragedies caused by war and the disasters it led to, emphasizing his support for peace. The event continued with questions from students being addressed.
At the conclusion of the event, the guests visited the university library, where they donated books. This visit marked the end of the group's stay in Khankendi, with plans to continue their journey to the city of Aghdam. The world-renowned NomadMania travel club's visit to Khankendi has begun, with international travelers from 30 countries arriving in the city after visiting Shusha.
