Baku: The number of foreign nationals granted work permits to engage in paid employment in Azerbaijan in 2024 has been disclosed, this was reflected in the Annual Report of the National Coordinator for Combating Human Trafficking (2024), which was discussed today at the joint meeting of the Human Rights, Legal Policy and State Building Committees of the Milli Majlis (Parliament of Azerbaijan), APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, based on a request from the State Migration Service, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population issued work permits to 4,251 foreign nationals to engage in paid employment in Azerbaijan, and extended the relevant permit period for 5,106 foreign nationals.
