At the auction of the State commodity exchange of Turkmenistan, 60 transactions were registered last week.
Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, UK, and Afghanistan purchased gasoline and oil road bitumen produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency, as well as diesel fuel produced at the Seydi refinery. Polypropylene produced by SC “Turkmengas” became the subject of transactions between representatives of the business circles of Russia and the UAE.
Also, colorless sheet glass and cotton fabric were sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The total amount of transactions exceeded 38 million 576 thousand US dollars.
For manat funds, businessmen from the UK purchased cotton yarn for a total of more than 223 thousand manats.
Local entrepreneurs purchased high-density polyethylene (SC “Turkmengas”) and carpet products for the total amount of over 35 million 831 thousand manats for the domestic market.
