On the proposal of Turkmenistan, at the 102nd plenary meeting of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, a resolution "On cooperation between the UN and the Economic Cooperation Organization" was unanimously adopted. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The report notes that within the framework of Turkmenistan's chairmanship in the ECO, the 15th summit of the heads of state of this organization will be held in Ashgabat on November 28 this year. The Turkmen Foreign Ministry emphasizes that Ashgabat is promoting important initiatives and projects with the participation of large international organizations, including the ECO, which creates a solid foundation for fruitful long-term relations.
