BAKU: Azerbaijan is set to expand online queue systems to hospitals across the country, aiming to streamline patient management and reduce wait times. The initiative, which has already been implemented in medical facilities in Baku and several regions, is part of a broader effort to enhance healthcare services nationwide. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Vugar Gurbanov, the Executive Director of the Azerbaijani Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), addressed the media regarding the rollout of the online systems. Gurbanov confirmed that the systems are part of a strategic plan to be introduced in all hospitals in the short term, enhancing efficiency in patient service and hospital operations. In response to inquiries about the current epidemiological climate, Gurbanov stated that there has been no significant surge in emergency medical service demands related to epidemiological concerns. While there is an observable spread of acute respiratory diseases, the frequency of hospital visits remains stable. This information suggests that the healthcare system is managing the situation adequately, without overwhelming the services. The expansion of the online queue systems is expected to further bolster the healthcare infrastructure in Azerbaijan, ensuring that patient care is both timely and organized.
