At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 20, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov reported on preparations for international events, the TDH state news agency reported .

This year, Turkmenistan will host:

6th Caspian Summit (to be held in October);

15th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization for Economic Cooperation ( this year, Turkmenistan is chairing the ECO, the event is scheduled for November 28 - the day of the organization's formation, - ed. );

international conference "Politics of Peace and Trust - the Basis of International Security, Stability and Development".

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the establishment of organizing committees to hold these events at a high level.

The head of state also instructed the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic, Banking and International Financial Organizations Serdar Berdimuhamedov to take the necessary measures for the proper holding of the ECO forum .
