During team competitions, they scored 206 points having conceded to Kazakhstan team with 219 points and Uzbekistan team with 211 but having left behind Russian and Ukrainian sportsmen with 203 and 201 points accordingly.
Before the tournament, Turkmen sportsmen underwent training camp at the same base where they gained the experience necessary for participation in international competitions. By the opinion of the specialists, it was the reason of the first effective achievement of our compatriots in international sport arena. The bowling is included in the programme of 2017 Asian Games in Ashgabat and hence every such tournament is an exam of our sportsmen for mastering and improvement of the level, which are required hard trainings.
Competitions in singles and doubles also took place where sportsmen from Turkmenistan demonstrated good results.
