Baku: A total of 4,154 natural and man-made incidents were recorded across Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2025, APA reports, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this marks an increase of 866 incidents, or 26%, compared to the same period in 2024. As a result of these incidents, 20 people lost their lives and 85 were injured.
Rescue teams from the ministry saved 18 individuals and evacuated 229 others.
