BAKU: Personnel from the Azerbaijani Naval Forces who participated in the AZIREX-2024 joint tactical exercise in the Caspian Sea have returned to Azerbaijan. The exercise took place in the sector of the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan reported that a group of naval officers received certificates of honor for their performance during the exercise. Two vessels and over 100 personnel from the Azerbaijani Naval Forces participated in the joint tactical exercise, which focused on "Search and Rescue at Sea."
