In Turkmenistan, it was decided to create an Interdepartmental Commission on the selection of land plots for the construction of new settlements in the country. The corresponding proposal, which was approved by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov , was presented at a digital meeting on January 28 by the Deputy Prime Minister for Construction, Dadebay Amangeldiev .
According to the state news agency TDH , in the opinion of the president, a commission is necessary for the preparation of construction projects and the selection of land plots for the construction of new settlements. In addition, important criteria for construction work are to ensure their high quality and completion on time, as well as a combination of traditions of national architecture and advanced international experience.
Recall that the last year in Turkmenistan, work is being done to improve the construction industry, and efforts are being made to make it fully switch to domestic materials.
On January 18, the head of state was informed about the discovery of a mineral that will allow them to produce their building materials, as well as creating an estimate and regulatory framework and improving the pricing system in construction.
On January 23, in order to expand the production of own building materials, Berdymukhamedov ordered to increase cement production.
