Russian citizens residing or temporarily staying in Turkmenistan will be able to vote in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation on September 19 at polling stations organized in five cities of the country. The Russian Embassy in Ashgabat announced through the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper that the voting will take place within one day on September 19 from 08.00 to 20.00 local time.
Voters will be able to vote in the following cities: in Ashgabat (No. 8287) in the building of the department of education, science and culture of the Russian Embassy, in Dashoguz (No. 8290) in the building of the mayor's office, in Mary (No. 8035) in the building of the mayor's office, Turkmenabat (No. 8291) in the building of the mayor's office and in Turkmenbashi (formerly Krasnovodsk) (No. 8288) at the consular point of the Russian embassy.
All Russian citizens residing in the territory of Turkmenistan, as well as those temporarily staying in the country who have reached the age of 18 on voting day and who have in their hands a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation - foreign, diplomatic or official, can take part in the voting. If you do not have a passport, you must have a certificate of entry (return) to the Russian Federation or a passport of a citizen of the USSR, sample 1974, with a mark indicating that you have Russian citizenship.
