PRESENTATION OF EDITIONS PUBLISHED IN HONOR OF THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF TURKMENISTAN’S PERMANENT NEUTRALITY

Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, a presentation of print media was held, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and reflecting the achievements of the state over the years.

The event was attended by the representatives of the ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, the press-attachés of diplomatic missions and representative offices of international organizations working in the country, rectors and faculty of the higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, editors of leading newspapers and magazines of the country, representatives of local media, as well as foreign journalists, accredited in Turkmenistan.

The representatives of the Mejlis, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, rectors of higher educational institutions, and editors-in-chief of newspapers of the country made their presentations. Speakers noted the importance of the status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and the milestones achieved by the country under the leadership of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Nine brightly illustrated publications were presented to the attention of the participants. Thematic publications detail the achievements of Turkmenistan in the field of healthcare, education, culture and sports. Much attention is also paid to the oil and gas industry, the construction and industrial complex, the sphere of trade, progress in the country’s economic, financial and banking sectors. Publications on transformations in the transport and communication sector, and in the field of agriculture also demonstrate the importance of these sectors for the national policy of Turkmenistan. It is also important to note the edition called “Ashgabat”, reflecting the beauty and uniqueness of the Turkmen capital.

As part of the presentation, participants also familiarized themselves with the exhibition of books.
