Ashgabat hosted a presentation of new socio-political books – “Interview of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the international media”, “Consultative meeting of the heads of states of Central Asia” and “15th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization”.

Representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, public organizations, scientists, university professors and students took part in the discussion of new publications.

Speakers at the presentation noted that neutral Turkmenistan not only comes up with relevant initiatives aimed at developing mutually beneficial cooperation on a regional and global scale, but also takes practical measures for their implementation. According to the participants of the meeting, this is confirmed by the results of the third consultative meeting of the heads of states of Central Asia and the 15th summit of the countries-participants of the Economic Cooperation Organization, held in Turkmenistan.

The forum emphasized that the strengthening of peace and trust in relations between states and peoples is inextricably linked with the policy of neutrality as an integral factor contributing to the strengthening of peace and sustainable development.

The forum participants expressed confidence that the new books would be of interest to a wide range of readers.
