President Alexander Lukashenko: New direction in Belarusian – Turkmen relations

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Garlyk mining and processing plant in Lebap velayat, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko noted that in the region rich in natural resources, the builders of the two countries built the largest in Central Asia complex for the production of potash fertilizers.

The head of Belarus also admitted that he was pleasantly surprised when he learned that the first thousand tons of potassium fertilizers received at the plant had been decided to be transferred to neighboring Afghanistan. The head of Belarus called the vector of development of the chemical industry of Turkmenistan a strategic, wise decision, as the demand for agricultural resources and demand for food products on the planet is growing. And all this depends on the fertility of the fields, fertilizers.
