Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev highlighted the robust political relationship between Azerbaijan and Georgia, emphasizing the regularity of high-level contacts and an active political dialogue. Speaking at a press conference alongside Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili, Aliyev noted that the two nations, which he described as "friendly" and "brotherly," consistently support one another within international organizations.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev reiterated the significance of numerous investment projects that link Azerbaijan and Georgia, underscoring their importance to a broader region. He pointed out that the oil and gas projects, as well as the oil and gas pipelines and various transport and communication projects jointly undertaken by the two countries, are of substantial importance.
