President explained the difference between digital meetings with khyakims and ministers

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on February 22, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov explained the difference between the meetings held earlier this week and on Fridays.

According to the state news agency TDH , the head of state said that "at a working meeting held on digital video every week on Monday, aspects of the socio-economic development of the country and its regions are discussed, issues related to the economy of velayats, the implementation of the National Rural Program."

At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers that takes place on Friday, the vice-premiers provide reports on the state of affairs in the spheres under their supervision, on their work and measures taken during the week, on the basis of which new topical tasks are determined.

Previously, video meetings were held with the heads of regions located in other parts of the country, and the president preferred to meet in person with the deputy prime ministers.

However, after digitalization became a new trend in Turkmenistan, the head of state began to hold videoconferences, now called digital video communication, and with members of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Note that the number of meetings this year has increasedsignificantly . In January, the President held 5 digital video meetings in 10 days, and in general for the month the head of state met with officials 12 times.
