President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Ambassador Marco Mancini share the visions on the prospects of Turkmen – Italian cooperation

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to Turkmenistan Marco Mancini who accomplishes his mission in our country.

The diplomat highlighted that consolidation of friendship relations and development of long-term full-scale partnership with Turkmenistan comprehensively meet foreign policy strategy of Italy and interests of the European Union in general. Marco Mancini noted that it was a great honour for him to our in our country and despite the end of his diplomatc mission he would continue taking all efforts and experience for expansion of knowledge about Turkmenistan both in Italy and other European states as well.

Having stated with delight the productive character of Turkmen � Italian interstate dialog, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed the gratitude to the Ambassador for personal contribution into consolidation of bilateral relations. Turkmenistan would continue paying special attention to consolidation of cooperation with Italy including under constructive dialog with the European Union and under other large international structures and organization, - the Head of the State said.

During the meeting, the Head of the State and Italian diplomat shared the visions on conditions and perspectives of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Italy on bilateral and multilateral basis. Fuel and energy sector, trade and economic sphere, transport and communication complex, agriculture and other fields were defined as key vectors of consolidation of interstate cooperation. The importance of activation and intensification of interstate relations in humanitarian sphere, particularly in science, culture, education, public health and tourism, was also mentioned.
