Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda on the occasion of Lithuania's national holiday, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter expressed President Aliyev's personal and national congratulations, highlighting the longstanding relations of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lithuania. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. President Aliyev emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts to strengthen interstate relations and enhance cooperation in accordance with the interests of both nations.

In his message, President Aliyev extended his best regards to President Nauseda and expressed wishes for everlasting peace and prosperity for the people of Lithuania.
