Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has addressed a congratulatory letter to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the occasion of Russia Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter highlights the traditionally close relations between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Russia, characterized by friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual support. President Aliyev emphasized that these strong traditions form a solid foundation for the comprehensive development of interstate relations and the deepening of cooperation across various areas.

President Aliyev expressed confidence that efforts will continue to be made to strengthen Azerbaijani-Russian relations and expand multifaceted interaction in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. He extended his best wishes to President Putin for good health and success, and to all Russian citizens for well-being and prosperity.
