Aghdam: President Ilham Aliyev has declared that the Second Garabagh War will be remembered as a significant and glorious chapter in Azerbaijan's history. This statement was made during his meeting with residents who have recently moved into new apartments in the village of Sarijali, Aghdam.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized that during the war, active military operations in the Aghdam direction were initially avoided due to the enemy's strong fortifications and extensive minefields. It was only after the strategic liberation of Hadrut, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, and Shusha that Azerbaijani forces advanced in the Aghdam direction, effectively surrounding enemy forces. President Aliyev highlighted Azerbaijan's humane approach by allowing the enemy an opportunity to withdraw from the lands voluntarily.
